Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
* Collaborate closely with construction teams to integrate management systems and drive positive change.
* Evaluate and enhance site-specific construction EHS plans to minimize risks.
* Become an authority in identifying and mitigating high-risk activities.
* Support the creation and coordination of risk assessments and method statements.
* Design and disseminate standard operating procedures to train personnel effectively.
* Qualify and appoint subcontractors according to our protocols.
* Investigate incidents using incident management procedures and notification protocols.
* Communicate essential safety updates through regular toolbox talks.
Requirements:
* A relevant diploma or degree in health and safety is essential.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental health and safety roles is required.
* Construction experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients are crucial.
