HR Manager Role in Cork
About Your New Employer:
We are a well-established engineering company seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with the Operations Director and Senior Leadership Team to deliver day-to-day HR operations efficiently.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
* Define the strategic direction of the HR function and establish priorities
* Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to achieve high-impact results
* Deliver regular HR analytics and workforce reports to inform business decisions
* Oversee core HR services, including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding
* Continuously review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and processes
* Manage property operations for 10 rental properties, ensuring lease administration, maintenance coordination, and tenant relationships are maintained
* Act as primary escalation point for complex employee relations issues
* Provide clear guidance on HR-related topics to employees and managers
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, industry standards, and regulations
* Liaise with auditors during employment compliance audits
* Support change management initiatives through workforce planning and performance improvement strategies
* Oversee GDPR compliance for employee data
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
* CIPD membership is mandatory
* Minimum 5 years' broad HR experience with a track record of managing employee relations matters
* In-depth understanding of Irish labour law, employment regulations, and HR compliance standards
* Proven leadership and team development skills, with experience coaching HR team members
