Kildare Service Type: Residential - Adults with Disabilities Contract: Permanent (Full-Time / Part-Time) Salary Scale: €36,379 (Point 1) - €52,445 (Point 12) per annum Role Purpose As a Social Care Worker, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support within a residential setting.
The role focuses on empowering individuals to achieve independence, social inclusion, and meaningful participation in daily life, in line with HIQA standards and best practice.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support and care to adults with disabilities Promote dignity, independence, and choice at all times Support personal care, daily living skills, and emotional wellbeing Plan and facilitate structured activities, life skills, and community participation Encourage engagement in education, recreation, and social inclusion Maintain a safe, homely, and therapeutic environment Work flexibly across a roster, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers Essential Requirements Level 7 degree in Social Care (or equivalent recognised qualification) Experience in residential, day service, or disability settings Knowledge of HIQA regulations and person-centred practice CORU registered or in the process of registration Full clean driving licence and own transport Authorised to work in Ireland Benefits Premium pay (Saturdays, double time Sundays, unsocial hours) 22 days annual leave Paid travel expenses Death in Service benefit Paid mandatory training and career progression opportunities Cycle to Work Scheme, parking available, Employee Assistance Programme Why Work with Orange Recruitment?
