About The Role
Callan Co-op is recruiting an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead the operations and strategic development of its high-profile retail and foodservice site in Tullow.
This busy multi-purpose location includes a Spar convenience store, Supermac’s fast food outlet, deli and sit-down dining area, and a Texaco-branded forecourt. The site is entering a phase of significant investment and development, and we are looking for a capable leader to drive operational excellence while shaping its future direction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full Site Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations across Spar, Supermac’s, deli, coffee dock, and Texaco forecourt.
2. Strategic Development: Lead infrastructure upgrades and contribute to long-term planning, including sourcing new commercial tenants.
3. Team Management: Lead and support a senior management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
4. Financial Oversight: Deliver on budgets, drive commercial performance, and report on KPIs.
5. Customer Experience: Ensure consistently high service and site standards in every department.
Essential
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years in a senior management role within retail, foodservice, or forecourt operations.
* Strong leadership and team development skills.
* Commercially focused with excellent organisational abilities.
* Working knowledge of HACCP, health & safety, and compliance standards.
Desirable
* Experience with Spar/BWG systems or branded QSR operations (e.g., Supermac’s).
* Background in site development or commercial tenant management.
* Familiarity with community-based or co-operative organisations.
