Key Responsibilities
* Design, provision and operation of advanced telecommunications networks.
* Installation, configuration and commissioning of equipment across technologies including Microwave, IP Radio, LTE/3G, Satellite, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls and VPNs.
* Provide Level 2 & Level 3 technical support for client networks.
* Troubleshoot performance issues, carry out risk assessments and plan changeovers.
* Preventative maintenance, network monitoring and issue resolution.
* Produce and maintain documentation, network diagrams and technical records.
* Work closely with project teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Requirements
* Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, Electronics or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in telecommunications networking.
* Strong knowledge of Ethernet switches, routers, firewalls and OTA communication devices.
* Proven design and installation experience of resilient, high-availability networks.
* Familiarity with incident and change management systems.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers, vendors and service providers.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
* Relevant certifications (CompTIA, CCNA or equivalent) desirable.
