Role Overview
We are looking for a candidate to join the Endpoint Security team as a Junior Technical Specialist – Security Support.
The Endpoint Security team report to the Head of Security Operations, providing security services to the European group of companies.
The Junior Security specialist will report to the Endpoint Security Manager within Central Security Services.
What you will help us to achieve
This position is to support the management, integration & operational support of Security Technologies and Services within the Endpoint Security Team.
Focus on continuous improvement and technical solutions to resolve operational issues.
Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Support and administration of security technologies and services that maintain business applications and IT services.
• Assist the Senior Security Specialist in endpoint Security tasks and assist the Endpoint Security Team.
• Responds to incident and problem management efficiently and effectively documenting lessons learned and future prevention.
• Carries out technology deployments, building and deploying new Security infrastructure.
• Maintain and promote security policies, standards and awareness.
• Support the project agenda for Cyber and H&I programs.
• Any other duties assigned by your manager.
What you will need to be successful in the role
The successful candidate ideally should have:
• years required working in IT and preferably in a Cyber Security role.
• Have a good security focus and understanding of security Technologies.
• The successful candidate should also have a focus on continuous improvement and to seek opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices in multiple security domains, such as privileged account management, identity and access management, network security and endpoint security.
• IT degree or equivalent.
• Experience in developing and improving processes, plans and playbooks.
• CISM, CISSP or equivalent is desirable
