Ideally it would suit a candidate with 4+ years experience.ResponsibilitiesTendering for jobsCompiling bills of quantitiesForward ordering project materials as quantified.Manage contracts – in relation to allocation of labour to each job, resolving site issues & monitoring work quality.Payments to sub-contractors.Keep costs within budgetAdhere to project programPreparation & submission of claims for variations, valuations, final accounts always to strict deadlinesPrepare weekly reports on job progressPreparation of final accounts.Chase outstanding moneys.Prepare weekly reports on job costing, payments received, overdue accounts & report on any staff related issues to managing director.Attend Site Meetings as required.Necessary skills and requirements2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction economicsA proven track record of quantity surveyingStrong operational skills and an attention to detailGood presentation skillsStrong written communication abilities are also essentialStrong customers focus skills and attitude.Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skillsAbility to work in a team or on own initiativeAbility to perform multiple tasks at a high level of qualityAbility to work well under pressure and anticipate any problemsEnthusiastic and Hardworking
