Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our Ireland-based team. As Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and managing group reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
The Role:
* Lead and develop the finance team.
* Deliver financial reporting and KPI analysis.
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Oversee full accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Manage statutory filings and year-end processes.
* Review and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
* Oversight of procurement optimisation, insurance, legal, and data protection activities.
* Financial, operational, and commercial risk management.
* Treasury management.
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Qualified accountant with at least 8 years PQE.
* Relevant industry experience gained within manufacturing or retail environments, ideally with multinational experience.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
* Excellent technical financial accounting skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Working knowledge of financial systems.
