Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board (DDLETB) serves the three county council areas of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, South Dublin and Fingal and a population of 862,468 people. The administrative area covered by Dublin and Dún Laoghaire ETB reaches from Balbriggan in north County Dublin, to Dún Laoghaire in south County Dublin and Lucan in west County Dublin. As a statutory body, DDLETB has responsibility for a wide and varied suite of education and training services including Primary, Post Primary, Further Education and Training (FET) settings and Youth Services.
In 2025, over 5,000 staff were employed in DDLETB, and the organisation provided services to over 85,000 learners who participated in the education and training services provided by DDLETB.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of the pension unit by managing key processes within their remit.
* Ensure the pension administrative services provided are appropriate to the needs of the ETB and are implemented/delivered in a quality manner.
* Act as pension systems supervisor/approver.
* Creating and maintaining consistent and accurate scheme records and events.
* Assist with monitoring and ensure HR pension procedures and processes are applied accurately and in compliance with Department/ETB policy guidelines, relevant legislation, and codes of practice.
* Prepare reports and statistics as required from time to time.
* Provide guidance and training to staff in the unit.
* Provide and promote service excellence and foster effective teamwork and business relationships.
* Undertake quality assurance checks to ensure systems and processes follow ETB policies, procedures, and protocol.
* Provide support on HR policy, projects and activities as required.
* Act on inter and intra department project teams from time to time
* Carry out any other duties appropriate to the post/grade which may be assigned from time to time.
