About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an
experienced Account Executive
to join a dynamic underwriting agency specialising in
market-leading commercial insurance products
for the SME sector.
Working exclusively through a trusted
network of brokers
, this is an excellent role for someone looking to develop their career in the commercial insurance space within a supportive and growing team environment.
This position is ideal for someone with
strong Personal Lines experience
who is looking to transition into Commercial, or for a candidate with at least
one year of Commercial Insurance experience
seeking a new challenge.
Day to day:
Support achievement of Commercial Renewal Business targets.
Contribute to team goals around retention, rate increases, and upselling/cross-selling.
Ensure all processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key broker partners.
Deliver a high level of accuracy and quality in all work.
Handle broker, staff, and management queries in a professional and timely manner.
Develop trusted relationships with brokers by anticipating needs, sharing information, and delivering on commitments.
Work closely with the Team Leader, Operations Manager, and Capital Management Team.
Collaborate to ensure all broker needs are met and team targets are achieved.
Ensure all work meets compliance and audit standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of
Commercial Insurance
experience (or strong Personal Lines background with interest in moving to Commercial).
APA or CIP qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality service.
