Porter Position

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, carry and move furniture and equipment within the accommodation centre. The Porter will be responsible for moving beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers and other heavy items during resident move-outs and preparing units for new arrivals.
The role also involves general handyman duties such as unblocking sinks, basic painting and simple DIY tasks. In addition, the Porter will be responsible for ensuring the centre is kept clean and tidy both inside and outside, as well as maintaining the grounds to a high standard by cutting grass, basic gardening and general upkeep.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and capable of managing a range of physical and maintenance tasks. They should be fit, healthy and strong with good manual dexterity and able to work at heights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Moving furniture and equipment within the accommodation centre
* Performing general handyman duties including unblocking sinks, basic painting and simple DIY tasks
* Ensuring the centre is kept clean and tidy both inside and outside
* Maintaining the grounds to a high standard
Benefits:
* Hourly rate: €14.00
* Night shift premium: €12.00 per night worked
* Sunday premium: Time and one-third
* Weekly pay, directly to your bank account
* 20 days paid annual leave, plus all statutory bank holiday entitlements
