We are looking for an Associate Account Director to join our team in contributing to successful client relationships with clients in the SMB market. You will be responsible for ensuring that clients renew their contracts with LinkedIn’s talent and learning products and services. You will focus on a portfolio of client accounts to ensure engagement in products through discovery, training, and ultimately guaranteeing that the investment made in LinkedIn’s solutions best meets the clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Build relationships with multiple stakeholders (vertically and horizontally) across the customer’s organization.
2. Ask layered, open-ended questions to understand and clarify customer objectives and challenges beyond surface-level detail.
3. Adapt communication style and content to fit the needs of different stakeholders.
4. Sell with integrity.
5. Drive customer decision-making by achieving a shared vision and proactively considering the value propositions that tie all stakeholders together.
6. Think commercially and apply business acumen when crafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
7. Use data and insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections.
8. Proactively mitigate churn risk by adopting a smart, customer-centric approach.
9. Engage customers throughout to confirm and clarify value and adapt strategies to optimize ROI.
10. Drive customer growth by proactively identifying opportunities to deliver greater value.
11. Map all key stakeholders in an account to assess relationship strength and create outreach strategies.
12. Be disciplined in territory and account planning, forecasting, and quota attainment.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* 1+ years of sales and/or client management experience.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with SaaS platform selling.
* Experience with recruiting, recruitment media, and HR software.
* Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions.
* Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions.
* Experience carrying a revenue target with the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results.
* Demonstrated ability to manage high-level business in an evangelistic sales environment.
* Ability to gather and use data to inform decisions and persuade others.
* Ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
* Ability to orchestrate business closures with an understanding of prospect needs.
* Ability to coordinate multiple partners and management team members using competitive selling techniques.
