Project Manager for Customer Experience
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of our Customer Information System (CIS) programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects that enhance the customer experience on our network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver projects to time, quality, and scope requirements
• Oversee the development and implementation of new customer information systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legislation
• Provide advice and assistance to colleagues as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
• Membership of Engineers Ireland or a relevant professional body
• At least 10 years of project engineering experience in a regulated environment
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Relevant general management and project management experience
Desirable Qualifications:
Prior experience in managing complex projects, knowledge of railway systems, and contract management would be beneficial. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to produce and manage budgets and schedules.

General Management Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of projects, communicating effectively with colleagues, and providing support to staff as needed. You will also be required to manage project resources, stakeholders, and finances effectively.
Specific Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the Senior Project Manager in developing infrastructure
• Ensuring project feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover are managed effectively
• Implementing project and contract control mechanisms and monitoring their effectiveness
Safety Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for delivering your safety responsibilities as outlined in the Safety Responsibility Statement and adhering to the Capital Investments Safety Management Procedure for Project Audits/Safety Tours.
People Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for leading and supporting staff, managing internal and external project resources, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Finance Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on financial aspects of projects, preparing and managing budgets, and undertaking all activities in line with governing procurement policies and procedures.
