We're hiring a
Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
to join a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation developing life-changing therapies for rare and serious diseases.
You'll be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities on a GMP biologics manufacturing site, working closely with multi-skilled technicians, engineers, and external service providers. This is a key coordination role ensuring maintenance work is planned, prioritised, executed safely, and remains audit-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule
all maintenance activities (
reactive, preventative, calibrations, proactive
)
* Run
daily & weekly planning meetings
and
prioritise work orders
* Forecast maintenance workloads
and manage
backlog via CMMS
* Develop job plans
, estimate
resources, materials, tools, and timelines
* Plan and execute annual plant shutdowns
* Support
investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls
* Maintain
CMMS data accuracy
and
train new users
* Support
audits
and ensure
regulatory compliance
* Drive
continuous improvement
,
metrics
, and
reliability reporting
Requirements
* Strong experience using
CMMS
(
essential
)
* Maintenance planning/scheduling experience
OR
5+ years in maintenance
* GMP experience
within
bio-pharma, pharma, or regulated manufacturing
* Strong
electrical & mechanical planning knowledge
(
hands-on background a plus
)
* Excellent
organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working
cross-functionally
in
fast-paced manufacturing environments
Nice to Have
* Experience with
plant shutdown planning
* Exposure to
RCA, CAPAs, and Change Controls
* Previous
CMMS administration
or
training
