Job Title: Chief Financial Manager

The organisation is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Manager to serve as its senior financial leader, reporting directly to the General Manager and the Board of Directors.

This role is accountable for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring strong financial performance, and supporting long-term strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Leading the finance and accounting function across all business units, driving effective cost control and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Implementing financial strategies designed to optimise profitability and operational performance, providing proactive, strategic financial leadership to support exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
* Ensuring optimal use of organisational resources, managing banking relationships, financing, and debt structures, and supporting teams in identifying and developing revenue-enhancing initiatives.
* Presenting accurate, timely, and insightful financial updates to the Board, factoring in risk exposure and market conditions.


Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the primary financial advisor to the Board of Directors, overseeing financial systems, business systems, and associated IT requirements.
* Deliver monthly and ad hoc financial reports to senior leadership, partnering with the General Manager as a key contact for external stakeholders.
* Ensure robust internal controls, processes, governance, and KPI frameworks, develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organisational targets.
* Identify and introduce innovative approaches to cost efficiency and revenue generation, lead the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting cycles.
* Manage cashflow, financial planning, and operating capital requirements, present financial insights, risks, and opportunities at Board meetings.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to support broader business strategy execution, liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external financial partners.
* Oversee taxation compliance and regulatory obligations.


Requirements:

* A degree in Finance or Accounting, supplemented by relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improvement.
