Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full credit control process across both B2B and B2C ledgers
* Proactively monitor and reduce aged debt, ensuring timely collections
* Process cash allocations, direct debits, and online payment platforms (e.g., SEPA, Go Cardless, Stripe)
* Investigate and resolve payment issues, including bounced payments and customer queries
* Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies promptly
* Maintain regular communication with an outsourced credit management partner
* Develop and track key credit control KPIs, providing regular reporting to management
* Play an active role in process improvement initiatives to streamline credit and collections processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of credit control experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships across internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of accounts whilst meeting KPI targets
* Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and reconciliations
* Solutions-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage deadlines effectively
