Manufacturing bespoke furniture for over 40 years, our talented team of craftspeople have manufactured furniture for hotels, bars, restaurants, cafés and nightclubs across Ireland and across the globe in many other countries, such as the USA, the UK, France, Portugal, Australia, UAE, Denmark, Belgium and many more.We are seeking a Qualified Upholsterer to join our team.The upholsterer will be responsible for upholstering a wide range of commercial-grade furniture including chairs, stools, banquette seating and many custom pieces. The role requires a high standard of craftsmanship, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires candidates to be able to speak English fluently.Skills & QualificationsMust be fully qualified in upholstering with at least 4 years' experience (ideally in hospitality/commercial upholstery).Strong practical upholstery skill – experience with commercial upholstery techniques, such as deep buttoning.Proficient working with industrial upholstery tools.Must have excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently as an individual and as part of a team.Good physical fitness – ability to lift, pull, carry and handle large furniture frames.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUpholstering various furniture pieces from chairs, stools, fixed seating using traditional techniques.Operating industrial upholstery tools.Working with a variety of materials including contract fabrics and leathers.Follow production schedules and meet deadlines for client orders.Follow processes to ensure consistency across high-volume orders.Ensure proper tension, fit, pattern alignment, and finishing details.Use all tools, machinery and materials safely in accordance with company procedures.Maintain a tidy and organised workspace within the upholstery department.Reporting To: Upholstery Department Foreman & Production ManagerHours: 39 hours per week (5 Days Per Week | Mon – Thurs : 8.30am – 5.30pm | Fri : 8.30am – 4.00pm) Location: Clontibret, Co.
