Bar Leadership Position
The Bar Manager is a key role in the success of upscale establishments. We are seeking an experienced and charismatic leader to oversee daily bar operations, provide exceptional customer service, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily bar operations to ensure consistent high-quality service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
2. Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to develop and maintain a premium drinks program, encompassing wine, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options.
3. Support the creation of seasonal and signature drink menus with suppliers and mixologists, ensuring innovative and appealing offerings.
4. Run tastings, training, and quality checks to maintain high standards, fostering a culture of excellence among bartenders and support staff.
5. Hire, train, and lead bartenders and support staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure team members meet their full potential.
6. Organize training on mixology, product knowledge, and guest service, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
7. Manage financial performance, revenue goals, and overall bar profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving strategies.
8. Monitor inventory levels, reduce waste, and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
9. Review sales reports and introduce promotions or upselling strategies, driving sales growth and improving profitability.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience running a bar in an upscale or luxury setting, with a proven track record of success.
* Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and premium beverage service, including a deep understanding of mixology and beverage trends.
* Experience with point-of-sale and inventory systems, with a high level of technical proficiency.
