About the Role We are currently seeking a Finishing Foreman to join our team on a significant ICF (Insulated Concrete Formwork) project a 3-storey Primary Care Centre with an Ambulance Bay in Birr, Co. Offaly. This is a full-time, site-based role reporting to the Site Manager. The successful candidate will act as 2nd in command, taking responsibility for managing all finishing works, ensuring timely completion, quality workmanship, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role is ideally suited to a qualified tradesperson (preferably carpentry background) or a junior site manager with finishing experience looking to progress their career. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all on-site finishing activities Manage subcontractors and trades on finishing elements Ensure work is completed according to programme and quality specifications Liaise with the Site Manager, suppliers, and subcontractors daily Conduct regular site inspections and snagging Maintain site records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Report progress and issues to the Site Manager Oversee final handover and quality assurance checks Skills & Requirements 3+ years experience in a finishing foreman or junior site management role Trade qualification (carpentry background desirable) Experience working on commercial or healthcare construction projects preferred Knowledge of ICF construction methods is advantageous Excellent coordination, time management, and communication skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full driving licence Benefits Competitive salary: €55,000 €65,000, depending on experience Company vehicle Laptop & mobile phone provided Opportunity to work on a high-profile healthcare project Supportive management team with active director involvement Long-term career progression in a growing and award-winning company
