Audit Senior
to join its high-performing team based in
Kildare
.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio across multiple industries, playing a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of audit and accounting engagements.
The successful candidate will work closely with managers and partners while supporting and developing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements to a high standard and within agreed timelines
Take ownership of day-to-day management of client files and audit deliverables
Support and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and providing guidance
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, audit, and statutory requirements
Prepare and review financial statements, along with related tax, VAT, and PAYE documentation
Manage client communications effectively, responding to queries and building strong relationships
Ensure accurate recording of chargeable time and support recovery of billable hours
Plan and manage workload to meet deadlines and facilitate timely sign-off
Candidate Profile
ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent) qualified
1-3 years' experience within an Irish accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit standards
Experience leading or supervising audit engagements and small teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
