Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
* Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site safety and quality assurance, while coordinating with other trades to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
Manage site safety, working closely with the Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Set up, manage, and close out the safety file as part of the management team.
Oversee site QA, working with the Mechanical Package Manager to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
Collaborate with other trades, Package Leads, consulting engineers, and clients to coordinate project schedules and resource allocation.
Monitor and manage costs associated with the package, including subcontractors and materials deliveries.
Manage day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring smooth project execution and minimal disruptions.
* Requirements:
A degree in mechanical engineering or relevant qualification.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, with experience in construction or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications used in the industry.
