Duties and Responsibilities
Below duties & responsibilities will need to be closely aligned with those duties and responsibilities of HR Manager colleagues.
Business Partnering
• Manage and provide the full suite of HR services across the business partnering with our Management & Leadership team within your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with Managers within your scope providing advice and consultancy on all aspects of HR.
• Partner with the business ensuring full alignment on business needs and HR initiatives in line with strategic objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to the business areas within your remit on all aspects of HR including employment law, general HR queries, recruitment selection and onboarding of new staff including conducting all required compliance, fitness and probity and HR checks.
• Hold regular people plan and recruitment meetings with internal stakeholders including Managers and Team Leaders as appropriate.
• Drive talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies
• Manage employee relations collaborating with leadership team and legal advisors where required.
• Lead and manage culture and engagement initiatives including GPTW and IMR together with HR colleagues and management/leaders.
• Support DEI initiatives to foster an inclusive and diverse workforce.
HRIS Implementation
• Lead the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System ensuring its smooth integration with existing systems, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training for HR team on using the system and for those internal stakeholders including for example ExCo/ELT Managers/Team Leaders/Employees
• Be the first point of contact for any evolution of the system.
• Oversee HR system and enhancements to improve efficiency.
Reporting and Budget Management
• Prepare submission of and manage the HR Budget in conjunction with HR Manager colleague ensuring alignment with Group Budgeting requirements and deadlines for submission.
• Liaise internally with key stakeholders in your area of remit including ExCo, ELT and Head of People and Culture representing and understanding business needs in line with strategic plan.
• Provide regular reports in form of power point presentations and appendices for ExCo as requested.
• Ensure HR respect and track and monitor spend on agreed budgets for all aspects of HR in conjunction with HR Manager colleague including but not limited to resourcing, payroll and pension, training and development, projects, wellbeing, HRIS implementation, and events.
Audit and Risk
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and compliance/risk internally to ensure HR compliance and to address and respond to any audit findings/requests to follow up/implement new procedures etc.
• Conduct regular HR audits of HR practices and processes to ensure adherence to legal compliance regulatory and risk requirements by the HR team.
