Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day processing of supplier invoices. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Verify accuracy of supplier invoices within our internal systems
* Confirm delivery of materials against corresponding invoices
* Post supplier invoices into the accounting system (Sage)
* Monitor finance mailbox and respond to supplier queries in a timely manner
* Reconcile supplier statements with internal records and accounting data
* Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
* Prior experience with Sage and basic bookkeeping knowledge is a plus
