Orange Recruitment are sourcing on behalf of our client for an Audit & Risk Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance, this role will be key in overseeing internal audit, risk management, compliance, and insurance activities across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the internal audit process from planning through to reporting.
Monitor and support implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure risk management strategies, policies and processes are robust and effective.
Work with senior management to embed risk practices in operations.
Manage insurance renewals, broker relationships, and claims.
Oversee production of the Annual Report and support sustainability reporting.
Drive continuous improvement through process reviews and technology adoption.
Provide leadership and mentorship across governance, risk and audit teams.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (required).
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) (required).
10+ years' post-qualification experience, including 4+ years in risk and/or audit.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with reporting tools an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of ESG reporting standards desirable.
