Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Director level financial reporting professional to head up a financial reporting team for an expanding financial services company operating in the Funds and Asset management space.
You will have total responsibility for the financial reporting department, including long term strategy, change initiatives and being the FR representative for client relationships and sales strategy.
Job Responsibilities
You will have overall responsibility for managing the day to day functionality of the financial reporting team.
You will be responsible for the management of the team and ensuring that client service standards are kept at a premium level.
Lead the production and review of financial statements in line with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and regulatory requirements whilst also overseeing audits.
Manage, mentor and develop team members through performance reviews, training, succession planning, and by fostering a culture of service excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance operating models, strengthen controls, and ensure adherence to financial regulatory filings and reporting obligations.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have 10 years' + experience at Director/SVP level or above within a funds financial reporting team.
Proven success in managing teams through a period of growth is essential.
Experience across Hedge, Mutual and Private Equity (essential) is also required.
Exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, LUX GAAP, FRS 102 and other regulatory accounting standards.
Fully Qualified ACA
Proven background in strategic or change management roles, with ability to design and implement operational improvements.
