We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process weekly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees in compliance with Irish tax and employment legislation.
">
* Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions, and entitlements.
">
* Maintain payroll data in HR systems and reconcile time & attendance records.
">
* Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless data integration.
">
* Manage payroll changes for new hires, leavers, and contract updates.
">
* Submit Revenue returns (PAYE Modernisation, PRSI, USC) and ensure statutory compliance.
">
* Prepare monthly payroll reports and support audits and year-end processes.
">
* Monitor legislative updates and implement necessary changes.
">
* Maintain confidential payroll records in line with GDPR.
">
* Support system upgrades and payroll-related improvement projects.
">
* Provide cover for Finance team members as needed.
">

Requirements:
">
* 3+ years' experience in payroll processing, ideally in a high-volume or FMCG environment.
">
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue systems.
">
* Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
">
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and discretion.
">
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
">
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
">
* Desirable IPASS qualification (or currently pursuing).
">
* Familiarity with HR systems.
">
* Exposure to volume payroll processing.
