Job Description
The Children's Disability Services Manager is responsible for developing Integrated Disability Solutions within a designated area, in line with National Policy. The manager ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, integrated children's disability services to a population of an assigned Community Healthcare Network, using family-centred practice and interdisciplinary team working.
Main responsibilities include:
* Managing resources, including all children's disability staff within the network.
* Providing day-to-day operational line management for children's disability staff and clinical assurance regarding professional supervision.
The successful candidate will have a relevant professional qualification in Nursing or a Health and Social Care profession, statutory registration, and a minimum of five years' post-qualification work experience in managing children's disability therapeutic services.
Additional requirements include:
* Good character.
* A state of health indicating a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
The role involves travel, requiring access to appropriate transport. A panel may be formed for similar vacancies arising during the next 12 months.
