The successful candidate will take a lead role in delivering environmental compliance, circular economy, and waste management services to a broad client base
across construction, infrastructure, energy, and industry.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Leading and delivering complex environmental consultancy projects from concept through to approval and implementation
* Owning and managing environmental licensing and permitting processes, including EPA licences and waste facility or collection permits
* Preparing and overseeing statutory reporting such as Annual Environmental Reports and Waste Data Returns
* Developing and implementing Resource & Waste Management Plans and waste-related environmental management systems
* Advising clients on zero-waste and circular economy strategies that align sustainability goals with commercial outcomes
* Carrying out audits, compliance reviews, due diligence, feasibility studies, waste classification, and planning compliance assessments
* Managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams with a strong focus on delivery and quality
* Building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development through a commercial, solutions-led approach

Requirements:
* A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline
* Strong experience in environmental consultancy, waste management, and regulatory compliance
* Excellent environmental licensing experience with a proven track record in Irish and EU regulatory frameworks
* Confidence operating in a client-facing, advisory capacity
* Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Highly desirable:
* Postgraduate qualifications in environmental management or circular economy
* Professional certifications (ISO systems, waste management, environmental auditing)
