A multinational innovative pharmaceutical company based in Dublin is hiring for their Irish operation. This organisation has medical devices and technology operations and is expanding its project team due to new investments in the site.
As a
Senior Project Manager,
you will be overseeing the software development for their medical device systems, tracking metrics, drafting key milestones and reporting updates to the leadership team.
You will work within the software engineering team onsite to support the delivery of key objectives. Reporting to the Director of Global Devices & Engineering for the business you will liaise closely with the internal operations team to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
Responsibilities
* Delivery across one or more areas such as: Software development; Systems integration; IT services industries; Infrastructure; Migration; etc.
* Managing a project budget including: Forecasts; Expenses; Subcontractors; Team; Training; etc.
* Stakeholder management including: Communication; Setting and managing expectations; Issues; Managing conflicts; Negotiation; etc.
* Planning, organising, scheduling, problem solving and the resolution of conflicting priorities. This is not a passive role and will require active participation in the delivery process.
* Applying the software development life-cycle and delivery of complex software integration solutions.
Experience
* Minimum of 10 years' experience working in software project management roles.
* Aligning IT strategy with corporate objectives, championing best development practices robust and scalable solutions.
* Proven experience on directing software development deliverables across enterprise sectors such as medical devices.
