We are currently seeking a versatile and skilled Construction All-Rounder to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
As a Construction All-Rounder, you will play a crucial role in our retrofit and construction projects by performing a variety of tasks across different trades. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to adapt to various job requirements. You will work closely with other tradespeople and site managers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
 * General Construction Tasks: Perform a wide range of construction duties including demolition, site preparation, and clean-up.
 * Carpentry: Assist with installation of doors and windows, studwork, battening and other carpentry tasks as needed.
 * Masonry and Groundworks: Repointing of verges, filling and patching off obsolete holes in the building's fabric. Form shutter work and lay/finish concrete.
 * Dry-lining Installation and air-tightness.
 * Painting & Finishing: Prepare surfaces and apply paint or other finishes as required.
 * Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate construction tools and machinery safely.
 * Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
 * Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise on site and report them to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
 * Experience: Proven experience in construction, with a strong trade background (e.g., carpentry, masonry, plumbing, groundworks).
 * Skills: Proficient in the use of construction tools and machinery, with a good understanding of construction techniques and safety practices.
 * Certifications: Relevant certifications or licenses for specific trades
 * Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
 * Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
Additional Requirements:
 * Manual Handling and Safepass required.
 * Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required.
 * Background Check: References will be checked.
 * Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

Pay: €17.50-€22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week

 * CO. Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
