Job Title: Technical Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting clients on a consulting basis, identifying qualifying research and development projects, and preparing technical assessments in line with HMRC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage in technical discussions with clients to understand their innovations and assess their eligibility for R&D tax relief.
* Prepare technical assessments and documentation in line with HMRC guidelines.
* Manage client information via our CRM system, keeping records up-to-date and well-organized.
* Support R&D tax relief claims during HMRC enquiries, ensuring clients feel well-prepared and supported throughout the process.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A degree or post-graduate qualification in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Circa 2 years' experience working in the Engineering or Industrial sectors.
* Exceptional skills in translating technical discussions into concise and compelling written documents.
* Strong numerical abilities and attention to detail.
* Prior experience with R&D Tax Credit is preferred but not mandatory.
