Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Project Manager within St Vincent's UCD Cancer Centre - UCD School of Medicine.
The St Vincent's UCD Cancer Centre is a collaborative endeavour uniting cutting-edge expertise in highly specialised cancer care and comprehensive cancer research.
This joint initiative, involving the St.
Vincent's Healthcare Group (SVHG; comprising St.
Vincent's University Hospital and St.
Vincent's Private Hospital) and University College Dublin, is dedicated to setting new standards in cancer treatment and research.
The Cancer Centre aims to establish a cancer biobank and clinical database to support the expansion of its translational and clinical trials portfolio.
The Research Project Manager will coordinate and drive the establishment of a Cancer Biobank spanning SVHG and UCD.
The role covers policy development, governance structures, ethics and consent pathways, database build, workflow design, and early implementation.
The postholder will be positioned within the Cancer Research Programme Office and work closely with clinical, pathology, data and research teams to deliver a coherent institutional biobanking strategy and an operational framework initially focused on a small number of strategic cancer sites.
Particular to this position: The St Vincent's UCD Cancer Centre is located across UCD Belfield and St Vincent's Healthcare Group campuses.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel between sites regularly.
Salary Range: €55,000 - €65,000 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
