Job Title: Motor Trade Paint Preparation TechnicianJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Preparation Technician to join our team in the Coach and Bus Painting industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles and components for painting, ensuring a high-quality finish.Key Responsibilities:Surface Preparation:Clean, sand, and mask surfaces to prepare for paint application.Repair minor dents, scratches, and imperfections using fillers and sanding techniques.Equipment Handling:Operate and maintain sanding tools, and other preparation equipment.Clean and maintain tools and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Quality Control:Inspect surfaces before and after preparation to ensure high-quality standards.Address defects and inconsistencies promptly.Health & Safety Compliance:Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).Ensure proper ventilation and handling of hazardous materials.Skills and Qualifications:Experience in vehicle preparation or a similar role in the automotive industry.Knowledge of sanding, and masking techniques.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a body shop or automotive repair centre.Salary: Competitive, €26K-€31K based on experience.Working Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their CV and cover letter outlining relevant experience and skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: €28,000.00-€31,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Tallaght, CO.
