Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team, where you will provide effective service to our customers by understanding their needs, processing, and managing finance applications and agreements throughout their lifecycle. The ideal team member will have previous experience handling financial applications and excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work closely with customers and the Sales team to ensure smooth onboarding and agreement setup processes, focusing on efficient customer service.

2. Check and collate customer documentation and paperwork in a timely manner to meet customer needs and comply with legislation and credit approvals.

3. Process deposits and initial payments on the ALFA system.

4. Prepare accurate payments to suppliers, brokers, and customers.

5. Issue welcome packs to customers within agreed timescales, including relevant documents.

6. Support the sales team by communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to progress new business transactions.

7. Assist with customer calls, including managing call divert when sales staff are unavailable or on leave.

8. Handle enquiries via email or telephone effectively and promptly.

9. Address customer complaints according to policy and respond to sales requests or queries promptly and accurately.

1. Can work independently and as part of a team.

2. Have proactive working experience and initiative.

3. Are numerate with analytical skills.

4. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and colleagues at all levels.

5. Can develop and maintain relationships internally and externally.

6. Have experience in providing excellent customer support.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

1. Previous experience with Asset Finance.

2. Good understanding of asset finance products.

3. Knowledge of SME regulation.
