**Accounting and Advisory Director Role**
Amicus has been engaged by a well-established, growing firm to recruit an experienced Director who can take the path to partnership.
The firm is entering an exciting growth phase, offering an ideal opportunity for an experienced Director or Senior Manager from a firm with limited opportunities for advancement.
The Role:
* Deliver client assignments on time and in accordance with departmental workflow and billing targets.
* Organise, plan, and complete statutory accounts, audits, management accounts, and tax returns (Corporation Tax and VAT) according to the workflow plan.
* Prepare and complete ad-hoc advisory assignments.
* Manage a portfolio of clients.
* Build direct client relationships based on assigned portfolios.
* Achieve monthly billing targets.
* Complete all engagements in accordance with the firm's agreed procedures.
* Capture and report relevant KPIs for team Key Performance Management purposes.
* Lead and manage the Accounting & Advisory SME team, working closely with the departmental partner.
* Collaborate with the partner and wider team to ensure all departmental KPIs are met.
The Person:
* ACA / ACCA / CPA Professional Qualification.
* 5+ years of PQE with Irish Practice experience.
* Knowledge of the Irish tax system.
* Proven track record of leading, managing, building, and developing accounting professional teams.
* Strong technical knowledge and skills in Accounting and Auditing standards (IAS, IFRS, Auditing Standards etc.).
* Ambition.
* Good understanding of accounting software packages.
