Overview: Our client, a leading freight forwarder with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking an Export Operations Executive to join their dynamic export team. This role is ideal for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to deliver exceptional customer service in global logistics. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of export shipments, including organizing customer collections, booking with airlines and ocean carriers, and providing shipment updates and tracking. Prepare and process export documentation (MAWB, HAWB, BOL) and complete export clearances using in-house customs software. Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing queries and proactively resolving issues. Maintain daily communication with overseas offices and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in process improvements. Perform invoicing, job accounting, and other duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements: 24 years experience in export operations, ideally with knowledge of both air and sea freight. Strong planning, organizational, and customer service skills. Excellent telephone manner and communication abilities. Experience in a fast-moving logistics environment. Willingness to learn and develop within the role. Essential Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of export processes and documentation. Proficiency in booking, arranging collections/deliveries, and handling invoicing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant logistics software.
