We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for tracking project costs, preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial performance, supporting funding and grant reporting, and providing insights to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
* Monitor project and operational costs, ensuring efficiency and value for money
* Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with project and operations teams
* Track KPIs and produce dashboards to support informed decision-making
* Conduct variance analysis and investigate key financial trends
* Support grant and funding reporting for sustainable energy projects
* Maintain and improve financial models and internal controls
* Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
* Assist in streamlining financial systems and supporting process improvements
The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years PQE experience, relevant accountant qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), and strong understanding of management accounting principles and cost control. Excellent Excel and data analysis skills are also essential.
This is a full-time position based near Tralee, County Kerry. The salary for this role is negotiable and will reflect the successful candidate's experience.
