Overview…
We are currently seeking a Plant Operator to join our team at Ballycoolin.
As a Plant Operator you will be responsible to operate the plant to produce bitumen emulsion and the testing of emulsion samples whilst ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards are adhered to.
More about what you will do…
* Adhere to and promote the highest level of safety standards whilst carrying out daily Health & Safety and Environmental Inspections
* Operating the plant to produce various grades of emulsion.
* Testing of Bitumen Emulsion Samples
* Recording Test Results
* Communication of test results to Plant Manager/Technical Manager in a timely manner.
* Calibration of Laboratory and Plant Equipment
* Planning and ordering raw materials as per production requirements
* To undertake plant maintenance activities
* To maintain plant and laboratory housekeeping standards.
* Supporting plant and lab housekeeping activities
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as necessitated by your function.
* Be flexible to meet business needs when required
What we need from you…
* Experience driving a Shunter Truck an advantage, but not essential as training will be given
* Telehandler ticket would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
* Manual Handling
* Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of work
* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Show commitment and a positive attitude to work
* Good verbal and written English due to nature of the role
* Good interpersonal skills
