The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive spray painting, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, mixing paints to match factory colours, and applying paint to vehicle bodies in a way that meets or exceeds manufacturer's standards.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements: Proven experience as a Spray Painter in an automotive repair setting.
Strong knowledge of painting equipment, materials, and techniques.
Experience with water-based paint is essential.
Ability to mix and apply paint in a manner that meets high quality standards.
Good understanding of colour theory and colour matching.
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Vocational training or certification in auto body painting is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities: Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
Mix and match paint to ensure perfect colour alignment with original factory specifications.
Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and other equipment, ensuring even coverage and proper thickness.
Operate heating or drying equipment to accelerate paint drying.
Perform quality checks on completed jobs to ensure there are no defects.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with health and safety regulations.
Keep records of paint usage and supplies to manage inventory effectively.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of vehicles.
