A Senior Field Service Engineer with strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills is required to join a leading semiconductor company.
The Senior Field Service Engineer works across diverse lines, product handling tool set‑ups, installations, repairs, PLC troubleshooting, and customer support.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment issues on‑site
Commission tools, perform retrofits, and provide training to customers
Read and interpret schematics, wiring, and blueprints
Write and troubleshoot PLC code (ladder logic)
Lead projects and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
Degree‑qualified, with experience in the semiconductor industry
Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
Comfortable traveling across Europe (up to 75% post‑Ireland project)
Able to work independently and manage customer‑focused projects
