We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV technician to become part of our growing team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Design, installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of:
Intruder alarm systems (wired and wireless)
Fire detection and alarm systems (both conventional and addressable)
CCTV systems (IP & analogue, wired and wireless)
Access control systems (IP & analogue, wired and wireless)
Gate automation and emergency lighting systems (desirable but not essential)
Technical Duties
Carry out detailed site assessments to identify customer requirements and propose tailored system solutions.
Configure and integrate CCTV systems within IT infrastructures, including TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and firewalls.
Set up and manage remote access capabilities for CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues across all installed systems, ensuring timely and effective support.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies, industry regulations, and best practices to recommend modern security solutions.
Deliver clear and effective training to end users on newly installed systems.
Demonstrate consistently high levels of customer service and professionalism.
Work independently as well as collaboratively to meet daily objectives, service targets, and client SLAs/KPIs.
Participate in the on-call rota to provide urgent technical support when required.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with industry standards and health & safety requirements.
Requirements
Ideally 4+ years' experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of electronic fire and security systems.
