Job Title: Device Technician Job Summary: Work as part of a production/operations team, ensuring equipment, work areas, and materials are prepared and operations run safely and efficiently, in line with regulatory and organizational standards. Shift Flexibility: Day: MonFri, 08:0016:30 (Fri finish 15:30), 39 hours/week Evening: 16:0000:00 (Fri finish 23:00), 16.7% shift allowance Night: 00:0008:00 (Fri finish 07:00), 27% shift allowance Key Responsibilities: Prepare and operate moulding, automated assembly, pad printing, and manual assembly equipment Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues affecting safety, quality, or efficiency Conduct quality checks and achieve production targets Supply materials safely and on time; label and pack components and finished products Operate advanced metrology equipment and robotic/vision systems Participate in new product introductions, improvement projects, and continuous improvement initiatives Document activities according to GMP standards Cross-train team members and assist in onboarding new staff Perform manual assembly and visual inspections as needed Essential Qualifications & Skills: Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant work experience Minimum 1 year experience in a regulated manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Desirable: 3rd level education For a confidential conversation about the role please apply for the role or contact Owen Clancy at By applying to this job post you agree that Sterling Engineering may process your personal data for recruitment purpose.
