Residential Services Manager Role
Western Care is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Manager to join our team in County Mayo. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals in their own homes and local community.
This exciting opportunity requires a proactive and creative individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be responsible for building and developing capacity within staff teams, ensuring the delivery and implementation of supports, and promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the service, including staff rosters and management.
* Support Service Development: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for individuals supported, focusing on social inclusion and community participation.
* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care and support.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3rd-level qualification in Social Care or equivalent (CORU registration eligible).
* Prior experience working in Autism Informed and Person-Centered practices.
* Strong understanding of HIQA standards and regulations.
