We are seeking a reliable and experienced Steel Erector to join a civil contractor on several projects in Co.
Donegal.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret structural steel drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and assembly procedures.
Directed crane operators for the safe lifting and positioning of heavy steel components such as beams, columns, and girders.
Positioned and aligned steel members using spanners, pods, and drift pins, ensuring perfect fit-up before final connection.
Secured steel components by installing and tightening high-strength bolts to specified torque requirements using impact wrenches and manual tools.
Requirements: Must have valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate Must have valid PPE ( Hi vis, Hard Hat, Glasses, Gloves and safety boots ) 1+ years steel erector experience required.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Transport is advantageous.
