FAR 135 Chief Pilot Position Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified candidate for Chief Pilot to oversee operations for our 14 CFR 10 or more 135 Certificate. Our organization operates a large fleet of fixed and rotor wing aircraft, conducting various missions worldwide, including Charter, Department of Defense, Fire Fighting, Air Ambulance, NVG, and Class A, B, C, D External Load Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain proficiency records, reports, and correspondence related to operational activities.
2. Submit required reports to the FAA, including those pertaining to flight crews.
3. Oversee the training status of flight crew members and ensure standardization.
4. Schedule flight crews efficiently.
5. Select check pilots to guarantee compliance with FAA Regulations and company policies, ensuring all pilots maintain current route qualifications and receive regular proficiency checks.
6. Collaborate on operational policies and training matters with relevant departments.
7. Provide up-to-date flight kits for each aircraft.
8. Ensure current aircraft checklists are maintained.
9. Subscribe to revision services and manufacturer bulletins for each aircraft make and model used by the company.
Qualifications:
1. Demonstrate a positive working relationship with the FAA.
2. Possess an ATP Pilot's Certificate.
3. Be qualified to serve as PIC on at least one of our FAR Part 135 aircraft (S61, Casa 212, B350).
4. Meet or exceed the standards and requirements outlined in FAR Part 119.71.
5. Able to travel to remote locations for extended periods.
6. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and PC/iOS programs.
7. Willing to relocate to Michigan.
8. Able to work a flexible schedule.
