As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll spearhead financial oversight, ensuring accurate accounting, robust cash flow projections, and adherence to financial agreements.Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, drive monthly accounts, handle tax filings, and enhance reporting standards. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong accounting background and industry experience.Main ResponsibilitiesPreparation of weekly Accounts for reviewPreparation of Monthly and Annual Accounts for reviewPrepare Weekly /Monthly Payroll Reconciliation for reviewPrepare Weekly Reconciliation of Accounts to KPI dataPreparation & management of annual / monthly budgetsAssist with Year-end AuditMonth End Accruals and Reconciliation for ReviewRun Weekly reports as requiredAssist with coding supplier invoices and assist with ensuring payment of critical suppliers on timeProcessing and monitoring of capex expenditure and maintaining fixed asset registerAssist with implementing procedures and process improvementsAssist with annual budgeting processPreparation of grant claimsAssistance with annual R&D Tax credit ClaimManage Accounts payable functionsAny other ad hoc duties as deemed appropriate by the management teamContribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes to DirectorsGuide and work closely with Financial AssistantPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts Receivable (40%)Purchase Order acceptance, processing, order fulfillment and invoice generationProvide inbound customer accounts response via phone, email,Liaise with Company partners and sales teams to ensure order fulfillment* Address questions on pricing, customer credit terms,Customer credit approvalDebtors ledger managementProcess bank receiptsAccounts Payable (30%)Suppliers Invoices - reconciling goods received to purchase ordersLiaise with suppliers to manage order and invoice disputesCreditors ledger management, including input and payment of supplier invoicesMonthly supplier reconciliations to statementsProcessing of bank receiptsReporting (20%)Inputting bank / other accounts informationPreparing reports for the Directors / executive team across a broad range of KPIsOther duties as reasonably required (10%)Job Type / CategoryJob is based from our Offices in Little Island, Part time, Flexi time is also an option.Required Education, Skills and QualificationsESSENTIAL CRITERIAStrong Customer Service SkillsNumeracy SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy of data inputStrong Communication Skills verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize workload and deliver to deadlinesTeam player, flexible and proactively uses own initiativeCompleter/finisher – follow through tasks, queries etc. to completion*Knowledge of computer systems, accounting software SAGE 50C, and Office applications required, ERP & CRM software, ROS, Auto-entry, ExcelDESIRED CRITERIA5+ years' relevant experienceQualified Accounting Technician (ATI) or Full/Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CAI)Knowledge of SAGE accounting platform helpfulBenefitsAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller with an experience in Accounts to join Irish Door Systems Ltd, Ireland's leading Manufacturer's of Door Systems & Bespoke Entry solutions.
