Procurement Contracts Manager - 6 month contract Job Description: Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Contracts Manager to support procurement and supplier management activities across key business functions on an initial contract basis. The role is 2 days on site and 3 days WFH. Job Responsibilities Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand operational priorities and align procurement activity with wider business objectives Support commercial and procurement initiatives across multiple spend categories, primarily IT and professional services Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure strong commercial outcomes, service quality, and effective risk mitigation Coordinate and support tendering and sourcing exercises in line with procurement governance standards Lead contract negotiations and oversee the preparation and review of supplier agreements Ensure supplier lifecycle and procurement governance processes are adhered to across all engagements Identify commercial risks within supplier agreements and work with contract owners to ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are in place Collaborate with procurement teams across regional and international functions to drive consistency and best practice Deliver procurement reporting and commercial updates to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner Support cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining strong supplier performance and service delivery standards Experience Required Minimum 5+ years experience within procurement, supplier management, or commercial contracts roles Strong background managing contracts within IT and/or professional services categories Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing commercial discussions Experience working within regulated or corporate environments with strong governance requirements Proven stakeholder management experience across senior business and operational teams Ability to interpret contractual and financial information and identify associated commercial risks Experience supporting procurement frameworks, supplier onboarding, and supplier risk processes Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills Desirable Skills Experience operating within financial services or another highly regulated industry Knowledge of supplier risk management frameworks and procurement governance standards Exposure to cross-functional procurement collaboration within multinational organisations Understanding of operational risk and first-line control environments Experience supporting procurement transformation or cost optimisation initiatives Educational Requirements Third level qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related discipline Professional procurement qualifications such as CIPS would be advantageous HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV Skills: Procurement Benefits: Day rate
