With a legacy of innovation and quality, our products empower customers to monitor, manage, and optimize critical processes with confidence.We are now looking for a self-driven Key Account Manager to join our Norther Europe Sales Team.Overview / PurposeThe Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts in Ireland for the full DwyerOmega product portfolio (sensing, monitoring, and control solutions: temperature, pressure, flow, level, automation, etc.). In addition to maintaining relationships and growing revenue within existing accounts, a prime focus will be acquiring, developing, and converting new accounts — expanding market share, improving presence, and ensuring the brand is well represented across relevant industries in Ireland.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & GrowthServe as main contact for assigned key accounts; understand their business, priorities, technical needs.Prepare account plans: revenue targets, product mix, growth strategies.Upsell / cross-sell the DwyerOmega product range.Monitor account performance (sales, margin, product mix) and take corrective actions if required.Reviewing customer feedback to identify areas for improvementliaising with existing clients to manage expectations and nurture relationshipsNew Business DevelopmentIdentify and qualify prospective customers; devise strategies for lead generation in target sectors (e.g. manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, HVAC, cold chain, industrial automation).Conduct market research to uncover underserved areas or verticals.Prospect: outreach, meetings, presentations, quotations, negotiating contracts.Contribute to the development of pricing / proposals and ensure competitiveness while protecting margin.using existing industry contacts and clients to find new business opportunitiesTechnical & Product KnowledgeAbility to push forward ones own training needs by spending time with design and manufacturing team at the companies various premises.Develop or maintain deep understanding of the DwyerOmega product range: specifications, applications, competitive advantages, and limitations. Use this knowledge to support customers and differentiate vs competitors.Liaise with technical teams / product / R&D to ensure customer requirements (customisations, calibrations, etc.) are met.Provide product feedback upward (market trends, customer feature demands).Sales Planning & ReportingBuild forecasts, pipelines, report regularly on sales performance, lead status, risks, and opportunities.Develop territory / account strategies aligned with overall company goals.Set measurable KPIs (new account targets, revenue, margin, product mix, customer satisfaction).presenting campaign updates and statistics to key stakeholdersSet and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectivesCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with internal teams: marketing (for campaigns, collateral), operations / logistics (ensure delivery, service), customer support / technical support.Work with distributor networks (if applicable) to ensure product availability, promotion, and co-selling.Represent DwyerOmega externally: trade shows, conferences, industry events in Ireland.Ensure high level of customer satisfaction: follow up on issues, ensure after-sales support, calibration services, warranty, etc.Monitor customer product usage, feedback, renewal of contracts, repeat orders.Required to be on site dealing with the customer from project start to finish, ensuring where issues arise during the project that these are rectified in a timely manner.Required Skills & ExperienceProven Sales / Account Management ExperienceAt least 5 years in technical sales / account management in industrial sensors, instrumentation, control systems, or related engineering products.Experience growing both existing accounts and building new ones from scratch in a B2B industrial environment.Technical AcumenComfort with technical product(s); ability to grasp how DwyerOmega's work and sell them based on performance & specification.Ability to interpret technical documents, liaise with engineering/technical stakeholders in customer organisations.Commercial & Negotiation SkillsStrong negotiation skills; pricing, contract terms, margins.Excellent stakeholder management: internal and external.Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication.
