The role of Senior Occupational Therapist is to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to adults with complex disabilities.
This includes:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised intervention programmes
* Supporting clients in areas including self-care, daily living skills, mobility, sensory needs, communication supports, and vocational/leisure activities
* Providing specialist advice and recommendations on assistive technology, seating, environmental adaptations, and housing needs
* Working collaboratively with families, carers, and community agencies to promote continuity of care
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU)
* Professional registration with CORU
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification clinical experience
Demonstrated experience in supervision, service development, or quality improvement initiatives is desirable. The ability to prioritise and manage a caseload efficiently is essential.
