Field Instrumentation Engineer Role
A skilled and experienced Field Instrumentation Engineer is required to join our team in a key role that involves servicing, calibrating, installing and maintaining instrumentation equipment on water and wastewater treatment plants. The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team in the field.
About the Role:
This field-based position offers a mix of technical maintenance, calibration and installation activities across various water and wastewater sectors. Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out instrumentation service, calibration, commissioning, and maintenance.
* Troubleshooting equipment such as flow meters, level sensors, analysers, inverters, and controllers.
* Installing and wiring control panels, pumps, and other site electrical components.
* Reporting service findings and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
* Performing general admin tasks including report writing and record keeping.
About You:
We are looking for an individual who has 2-3 years of hands-on instrumentation experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems including panels, wiring, and troubleshooting. A proactive approach with strong communication skills is essential. Additionally, having a full, clean driving licence and familiarity with the water/wastewater process would be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary, company vehicle/van with a fuel card, 25 days holiday per annum, laptop and phone provided, lunch allowance of €14 per day. Primarily based in the Meath and North Leinster area, with some travel required across other regions.
